Being a master’s student for eight months so far, I have experienced a lot of incredible, unexpected and exciting moments. But what happens when the most difficult part of the master’s life (exams) comes to an end? Celebrating!
The perfect combination for me as a student is to finish my exams and spend a whole day with my colleagues to celebrate it and that is what happened last Friday! The Henley Business School organised an event for all Master students down by the riverside at the Greenlands campus in Henley-on-Thames.
I am that type of person that cannot miss any socialising event, so the only option for me was to attend. The campus is set in beautiful Berkshire countryside and has lawns that lead down to the River Thames, It was amazing! Of course, none of us missed the chance to go outside and take lots and lots and lots of photos there and post them on social media, tagging our colleagues and letting others who didn’t attend know that they should’ve come!
The most exciting part of the day was the boat party along the River Thames! We were all so eager to get aboard, figure out which one was starboard and drink Champagne. The scenery was breathtaking.

Not only did we enjoy the tour, but we got to meet students who study different Master courses from us. All, being literally in the same boat, we all made firm friends, taking pictures and videos to make the moment last forever and keep that trip forever in our minds.
The day couldn’t end up in a sweeter way as they offered us Strawberries & Cream back at the riverside. Our smiles and happy faces told those who organised the event how thrilled we were, so I’d like to thank them so much to them for making it a lot of fun.
